i'm going to the store for more wormer on the way home tomorrow, she'll get it straight in her mouth/down her throat and hope we don't get it all over..
no not powder ... tube of paste/goo....
priority for the week is to get that into her.... so there won't be much riding getting done, as i have to have help for the task, and then you can guarantee it'll rain the following ...
she's rugged it's gone really cold and she felt cool when i brought her in - warmed up in the stable, but it's very sheltered and the warmest place in the entire yard! - but worth light rugging. i needed to put my fleece under my jacket! this is possibly because i had been in a warm car .. but it was only 10 degrees C and getting colder...

Getting warmer here, again. And, to top it off, the heat was on in school and my room...well, need I say it? Over heated because the thermostat and heating system just can't seem to communicate.
Make sure Molly has no hay or grass in her mouth when you give her the paste. That's how they can spit it out. Otherwise it's really hard for them to get rid of it.
Polo was a nightmare wormer..Suprise suprise(is there anything he does without question I wonder?).
He used to rear throw himself all over the place took the skin oof my knuckles many a time.
My method is leave the top on the wormer and just keep tap tap tapping off the side of the mouth.Doesnt matter if the head is straight up in the air keep following a doing that eventually they 'think' nothing else is going to happen and stop reacting. Then start putting it in the mouth over and over again. When she stops reacting take the top off and bung it in..that worked the best with him anyway!
...and like Jean said nothing in the gob!
Sounds like your leading the way for a cold snap coming in...
Molly is adorable!
