we got up really early and went up to northumberland county show - watched some of Nicola's class for her borders - and it was HOT... 30 degrees C, apparently, according to the car sensor...
got there about 9, left about 2 - tired.... went to my mother's on the way home.... came home, fell asleep for about 2 1/2 hours!!!!! so not me! and after a glorious hot sunny day, when I did wake up again, it was raining!

Sometimes a good nap is the only way to spend the day. I suspect you needed it. Hot again here too. It was supposed to be cooler but somehow it didn't make it.
I do fear when I went out to check the temp on the garage thermometer, it was close to 100F (37.7C) Yuck!
Supposed to cool off for tomorrow...otherwise I am going to need a nap during the school day.
I'd've loved to have come to the show but a) we thought we'd better head home early enough to avoid the BH traffic and b) we had 2 non horsey friends with us! When we got home it was dull and cloudy while you still had sunshine according to my m-in-law!
After a day at a show a nap on a hot afternoon sounds perfect!
You must have needed a nap after your day out. LOL
