would have been a better exercise if i'd placed them better, which i will next time.
but having said that, when we both got it right, it looked good.
poles are something i need to work better at, to get it all set up right, and my technique at slowing molly down needs work.... fine when there's no poles, but not when there are!
the haybar and stable mirror got moved along today into the stable i moved her into last week. can't move back now!
and music? i bought an mp3 player - what would you all recommend to ride to?

Ride to something that relaxes you. Don't get something all bouncy that has a rhythm not matching Molly's gaits or it will set your body into the wrong rhythm too. Anything you like that kind of soothes you will help you relax in the saddle and get rid of any tension you might communicate to her.
Sooner or later, you will find the right tunes to match her gaits and then it becomes even more fun to make up little exercises to the music.
Vangelis is very popular since one of the top riders started using it. Fabulou music, too, if you like that kind of thing.
