doh, what's a shim?? Shame about the lesson.
a shim goes under either the back or front of the saddle, whether treed or treeless, to aid in fit ..
Molly would need them whatever saddle she had, due to her congenital asymmetry....
Another one here who had to cancel a lesson..for different reasons though!
Maybe the shimming issue was making your riding unequal too?
Hope it's sorted out now. Shame about the lesson, but there will be other days.
