has been given another night off - the bruising was wonderful by close of play last night, i've bought some arnica cream, hopefully it will be a bit better tomorrow. I wasn't sure it was even up for the movement involved in lunging, so discretion being the better part of everything else....
hopefully it's sorted by Saturday teatime, as I've just arranged another lesson - it's going to be half lesson, half molly being schooled... and partner is thinking about starting lessons again herself...

Didn't connect your knee and the fence until just now. Ouch. Better rest it than take a chance. Should be fine for a lesson.
Does partner ride Molly or a school horse? Could make for some good days at the barn with the both of you involved.
partner a very very novice rider who hasn't actually been on a horse since 2002....
and I don't think Molly's the horse for her... although you never know, she doesn't know enough to try too hard if you see what i mean...
unfortunately, she's never wanted her own, although used to ride Queenie out quite happily...
Hope the knee improves and that you and Molly have a good lesson. Good luck to your partner, as well!
