yes. some nice horses there (well, you'd expect there to be!) so fingers crossed!
Such nice horses...I'm kind of partial to Hoobie, but that's just because he looks a bit like my Russell when I first got him.
I think the key thing for you will be temperament. They all look well built and beautifully cared for already. As I noted on Facebook, they can certainly refer to your blog if they need a reference to care, etc....and determination.
I like the trial period and that they offer help if you need it. Their program looks excellent. It would be nice to have a horse that hadn't been on the track, but one that has might well have already seen and experienced things to make him a bit more "bomb proof."
You can't beat the adoption "price" either. For horses like that, what a deal! I am so excited. You need to let us know the first second you hear something.
Ooh, Gerry's nice too and Spike looks like a hunk.....There are several of the three year olds not yet started for me....Good thing I'm not there!!!

Have been reading over the weekend but only just managing to catch up Claire. I admire your decision for Molly, it's no-one's business of course but FWIW it sounds like the right thing for you both. I also wanted to say I use an equine massage therapist, as do a couple of people from EE I believe if you wanted to ask more about her, and I think she covers the north of England in addition to Scotland. She's worked wonders with Quadi, and even though the demands on Molly's body will be greatly reduced now, I can easily send you her details if you'd like (for your prospective gelding too of course!).
I've given serious consideration to an OTTB for my next ridden horse, hopefully that's a way off yet though! If you happen to go to Darley to visit, sneak Theo out for me, take a big holdall!

Just read your blog for the first time in a week or so - my routine is not really established.
I think it takes great clarity of mind and maturity to admit that something that is well established is not working. Take your time, as you have it, to find another horse to fit your needs.
