and late home again - had to do some shoppoing, and there was a possibility partner would need rescuing from her walk, which was near my work, so stuck about a bit. and it's cold again, we've been spoilt.
hopefully, nothing will prevent us riding tomorrow!

Noted your comment on Caroline's blog about Molly and Johnathan. Honestly, sending Tucker off to Kenny was absolutely the best thing I ever did. If there is any way to scrape up the money, it might be well worth it.
Molly may just be testing you because she knows you are sensitive to her needs. Just being made to be a "normal" horse might do wonders for her.
I have been where you are, being just a bit intimidated by my own horse and it's not a fun feeling. Now, Tucker is still not a carefree get on a gallop off into the fields horse, but he is certainly not the totally unpredictable character he was when I started him off.
You could have so much more fun if Molly would just chill out.
And, as Caroline's example proved to us all, it is no disgrace to admit that you just can't do it all yourself.
