Keeping My Fingers Crossed
This is the continuation of the story of my mare Molly and her retraining into, hopefully, a sensible horse, a safe hack, and a horse able to obtain decent marks at dressage as she has really nice paces when she's working well ....

What a good girl! Downhill is always a bit of a trick if you horse doesn't quite feel balanced. You just need to do lots of hills to get the knack for both of you.
And who can blame her about the mud. Not only slippery, but she will get her very pretty self all dirty! *G*
Glad you are getting out. The best place to "make" a horse is in the "field." (an old cavalry saying, I do believe.)
it woulnd't be nearly so bad if i'd got the suede seat saddle rather than the butt leather; don't know why i let muriel convince me butt leather wasn't that slippy.....duh.
