the river subsided!

We were somewhat surprised, but subside it did thank goodness... probably until the hills start melting sometime later than the lowlands.

and we did lunge - took them both out together! they were pretty good considering it's the first time they've done anything at all for weeks. a bit full of beans, but settled well and we were pleased with them.

Molly's feet improving - of course, the one advantage of all that snow was that Gaynor didn't have to deal with muddy feet, but with clean feet - she says, they were pristine! not cured yet, but a huge amount better than they were...

Great to hear the river subsided, I was worried for you folks.

Did Molly have sore feet? Just wondering if I had missed a post! Glad they were so good today :D

So, the snow had some value after all. I also like how white their socks look when it snows. Then...of course....comes...the inevitable....mud. Hope Molly's thrush clears up sooner than later.

Glad they were good to lunge. Sometimes silly can get out of hand. I lost Tucker on the line yesterday when he spooked and leaped off. Now big deal, but definitely not the best training method. *S*

Sounds like things went well and the floods not materialising is a big bonus.
