she hadn't rolled! which was impressive .. it was the first thing charlie did this morning!
didn't do any work with her today.. think this is going to be a boring winter? ... and whether i do any this morning depends what time we get up and what the weather is like..
i know i said i have access to a nice arena.. getting there in the dark will be interesting, and i don't think i quite fancy it.
we'll see. if all i do is a bit of groundwork every morning along the lane, that'll keep her ticking over! or flexions in the stable, or something...

Going into winter, it's easy to experience a lull in one's enthusiasm. I've gone through that but now am itching to do 'stuff' with my horse once again.
Hopefully the 'dreich' weather we've had won't last much longer, wind and rain are hardly great motivators! Neither are muddy horses ;)
Have you got Celia Cohen's Stretchy Horses DVD? Lots of exercises you can do in the stable to keep Molly amused and supple too :)
Winter is a bummer for riding. Then again, when it's nice, it can be exceptional. Trouble is, exceptional doesn't happen as often as we'd like.
Oh the ogre of winter Do take a look of Celia's stretchy horses - Dani had a treat the other day I put some photos on Danis blog so you can see what an apple on a stick will do! Peter swears that Piaffe started to keep horses fit on long sea voyages - must have been noisy though! Christine huddles further over computer to nurse cold cough cough
i remember when i used to ride out in all weathers,i've gotten soft in my old age and i'm very picky now.
