No sign of bears in my immediate area, but some have been sighted in neighboring towns. Since I have a State Park behind me of some 1200 acres, there is always a possibilty. West Milford is about 76 miles northwest of me.
This story is hysterical. Either the cat or the bear has a skewed concept of size and ferocity--although to be frank, I would not like to stand up to a hissing cat!
Apparently, I do need to court the favor of my stray Poppacat and Mommycat. I may need them in the future. *G*
We did have a coyote here and rumor has it we have bobcats.
