because it's forecast to rain a fair bit over the weekend and molly doesn't get first dibs at the field shelter....she's got a nice woollyish coat, but that'll not help if she gets very wet ..
friday night, and it was very dull and dark when i got to the yard, in fact was impressed i got there before the rain.. then of course, wouldn't you know it, molly's half way through her tea and the sky is lightening a bit ....as the clouds thinned.
never mind, subject to the weather i'm going to try longlining her a bit further one day over the weekend, and try another hack out (but hopefully, without the saddle slipping !)

The weather has a mind of its own this time of year. Today, here, the sun was out, the sky was blue and it was raining. (Just sprinkles, but still!!What is that?)
Here's hoping you will have a good weekend with your girl and that she will decide at last to become a good hack all the way 'round that field and back again.
We have finally got our promisd rain but it's still warm for the season, all putting on their hairy coats like Molly though. Hope the weekend brings clement weather for you to get some work in.
